In the process of breaking down and putting my keebs on Skadis pegboards like everyone does. Need to mount two more boards to get the office collection MOSTLY off of shelves.

Going to wrap the hooks in Silicone tubing to reduce the chances of scratches, and I need to buy or print some mounts for my smaller boards. Which means a better 3D printer, and maybe finally setting up the laser cutter that's been sitting in the basement for three years.

Ah, hobbies.

My favorite budget mechanical keyboard is on sale for $40, with support for hot swappable switches and decent (not the best) RGB effects.

If you want to get into a mechanical keyboard but don't want to spend the budget, this is a great option. I've gotten rid of every other board in my collection in favor of this one, with a couple of sets of switches and caps.

Hey, people with opinions about mechanical keyboards: If I'm switching from an old qwerty MS ergo to a 42 key Atreus and want to end up using a Colemak-ish layout should I make the change in one or two steps? If two steps, should I switch to the new layout before switching to the Atreus or vice versa?

For the #keebs out there I started this project last year of an ortholinear like 65% keyboard that doesn't need custom keycaps. Im calling it the Unorthodox and right now I'm in the process of making the V2 which has a cleaner design and uses magnets to hold itself together. The V1 had some tolerance issues and I didnt like the design. I'd love to hear what y'all think.
