#CO2 #Keeling

Am Mauna Loa (#MLO) wurden für den Julie 2023 422,14 ppm im Durchschnitt gemessen. Der saisonbereinigte Wert betragt 421,76 ppm und ist damit der höchste jemals gemessene saisonbereinigte Wert.

Vor einem Jahr lag der Wert noch 3.29 ppm niedriger. Dies ist der höchste Anstieg von innerhalb eines Jahres.

Dieser Wert kommt nicht überraschend. Seit 2003 ergibt die Extrapolation der Keeling Kurve einen Wert zwischen 421,5 ppm und 422 ppm.

Die #KeelingKurve steigt weiter. Der monatliche Mittelwert für Mai stellt einen neuen Rekord dar und liegt 3 ppm über dem Wert des letzten Jahres.

Die ab 1958 approximierte Kurve zeigt keine signifikante Änderung des Anstieges in den letzten Jahren. Der CO₂-Anstieg von 3 ppm liegt sehr nahe am erwarteten Wert.

Dass Maßnahmen zur CO₂-Reduktion etwas bewirkt hätten, ist aus der Kurve nicht erkennbar.

Muestra el aumento de concentración de partículas de #CO2 por millón (ppm significa 'partículas por millón').

Esta concentración es creciente y cíclica: pequeños mínimos relativos se ven cada año superados por pequeños máximos relativos. El resultado global es un aumento contino de la concentración de contaminantes.

Because of the #MaunaLoa eruption and lava flows, the #CO2 measurement equipment that maintains the famous #Keeling Curve lost power on Nov. 28 and is not currently recording data.
