@pablo I use #keepass2android for years now and I'm happy with it, syncing to Google drive as well. I have no idea how it compares to other apps, but it works just fine.

@deflate KeePassXC has versions for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
It doesn't have official mobile ports, but they suggest using one of these for iOS

I use KeePass2Android and have no complaints.

In case you want a password manager system that works and doesn't have a giant target painted on it. I suggest #nextcloud on your own hardware or a VPS, and #keepassxc or #Keepass2android. Use a good password and a keyfile. Don't put the keyfile on your Nextcloud. Keep backups of it all on a USB drive in a safe place.

@Just_Rei @Em0nM4stodon @jacmoe I haven't done any hands-on comparison, but on Windows I'm using #Keepass and on Android "#Keepass2Android Offline".
I'm happy with both, using USB drives for synchronization (always unidirectional) and backup.
I have a separate database for office (my boss knows the master password) and one database for personal use (my wife knows the pw).

@cbyrd01 I started using #lastpass when #Firefox decided to discontinue #lockwise, which to me was perfect. Then there was the security breach and started reading everywhere that cloud stored passwords weren't a good idea, so I'm trying #keepassxc now. I'm still tidying it up, adding labels and icons etc and then I'll sync everything to use #keepass2android in my cellphone.

Lots of work, but getting some automatization done it'll be easier. I hope.

@gameover I use #keepass and #onedrive. I have #keepassxc on my Windows and Linux systems. I have #insynchq for Linux so I can get to all my cloud storage. For Android, I use #keepass2android Keepass2Android. I've never had a synch issue with it. I did have problems with some of the other Android keepass apps I tried.
The only problem I have now is that they're is no insynchq client for #SteamDeck and no Linux native OneDrive client.
I'm using OneDrive because I pay for a family #Microsoft365 plan.

Ihr habt bestimmt schon gehört, dass #Lastpass gehackt wurde. Tja. Passwörter in der Public Cloud halt. Meine Empfehlung:

@koire I combine #KeePassXC for password managment and #SyncThing for backup/distribution. Works wonderfully for me. #KeePass2Android can even SSH to a remote host to keep my mobile device's copy of the password database current.

Unter Android #Keepass2Android, weil es per #WebDAV direkt auf die #NextCloud zugreifen kann.

@can there should be only a problem if you save changes on more than one device, while they are not in sync, at least for #keepass2 and #keepass2android
In all other cases, it should just work.

@techlore Another vote for #keepassxc. The ssh-agent function is especially useful. Using #keepass2android on mobile but I note a lot of votes for KeepassDX here.

Mit #KeePass2Android wird das auch klappen.
Aber eigentlich versuche ich gerade, meinem Androiden aus den Google-Fängen zu befreien. Und #KeePassDX (die brauchbarste #FOSS Version unter Android unter F-Droid) unterstützt leider noch kein #WebDAV :mastosob:
