Like, sure, #masks aren’t super comfortable. But neither are heels, or bras, or suits & ties. Humans have been willingly making themselves uncomfortable every time they get dressed for CENTURIES. It’s not that.

I wear glasses, and have a really narrow nose bridge. Almost every mask I’ve ever tried fogged my glasses. I kept at it until I found some that worked, it can be done!

Went back to the cancer center today and again the receptionists were not masked but the clinical folks were in surgicals. I was asked to take of my n95 to take my temperature and I refused so they did it in my armpit. #CovidIsntOver #KeepMasksInHealthcare

...the passengers on the Titanic knew about how many people there were on board, and had opportunity to take stock of how many life boats there were in the days prior to the iceberg.

There were observable facts that should have caused them to demand every lifeboat was as full as possible before it was lowered, but the propaganda was that the ship was unsinkable....

As the first lifeboats were lowered, survivors reported no signs of panic. That is largely due to the crew insisting that another ship would be by presently, and the fact that the band played on.

Nothing to see here. Everything is urgently normal...

Ultimately, the ship builders - or those who are tasked with creating or changing the systems we live in - are to blame for forcing us to make impossible daily choices.

But they like to take shortcuts, because shortcuts are cheap.

But we’ve hit an iceberg. People like @AshishKJha46 have secured their lifeboats: highly ventilated schools for their kids, access to testing and antivirals, great insurance should they become disabled.

I had to do exactly that three times this week, entering three medical facilities. In the clinic, a woman graciously let out a giant sneeze in my direction without covering her face. Thank you, you troglodyte. The doctor's flimsy surgical mask was below her nose.

Entering a medical facility is like playing Russian roulette these days. I'm recovering from the trauma of being stuck in these stewing hellholes. And raging.
