Remembering Mama Cass Elliot, who died on 29 July 1974 of a heart attack at Harry Nilsson’s London flat. Four years later, Keith Moon would die in the same room, at the same age (32).
Cass’ self-titled 1972 album contains some belting versions of great songs including Jesus Was A Cross Maker and Disney Girls.

Ik weet het als ik de 100 zou maken staat #KeithMoon binnen de 50, maar ik vind hem wat vernielzuchtig 🥴.
Ik vind Queen en Pink Floyd super maar de drummers niet zo.
Taylor Hawkins was een superdrummer maar er zijn er beter.
Maar het is mijn lijst natuurlijk, en ik snap sommige verafgodingen niet terwijl de nummers soms ingespeeld werden door sessiemuzikanten.

Op een dag kwam hij #RogerDaltrey tegen, die toen bij #TheDetours zong, of hij niet bij zijn band kwam spelen.
Pete ging mee met John, en later komt ook #KeithMoon als drummer bij de band, #TheWho is geboren.
John zorgde steeds dat hij boven de rest uitkwam, en zo werd de sound van The Who vooral gevormd, live werd het een ware pletwals.
