1/ Stoked to see that both #Kennesaw & #Acworth are having Juneteenth celebrations today at times that don’t overlap meaning that I can hit up both because I am literally equidistant from both locations that make for pleasant #motorcycle excursions.
But it’s telling, I think, to see that Kennesaw’s event is midday noon hosted by the Police Citizens Advisory Board (whatever the heck that is?) while Acworth’s is at 6pm evening into the night hosted by the city’s Parks and Rec dept

Well this was super cool. Walking Ruffers this evening as the sun was setting I heard a bunch of geese squawking over a green space creek next to a neighbor’s house and was surprised to see it was actually a ginormous and majestic flying formation of them coming in from the south and then they flew directly over us heading dead nuts due north! There was probably a hundred of them :mindblown:

I’ve been idling in the drive thru line for an hour now to “pickup a Whataburger on my way home for my loved one”… she’s a Texas person 😭
I’ve listened to the intro & all of Act-I of this American Life & solved an entire Quordle. I guess I’m gonna have to get a Dr Pepper milkshake that I’ve been staring at for the past half hour using it as a reference point when I creep forward every 7 minutes.

Made a quick sprint on the cafe racer down to a cool little coffee shop in Kennsaw called Independent Grounds Coffee on Busbee Rd across the street from the KSU Fifth Third stadium.
This place is cool because they employee neurodiverse kids. Good music and coffee too

I got these records from the same shop as gifts for the kids. The Guardians of the Galaxy is for the weeman and I think he is really going to dig it. The Disney Haunted House sounds is for his sister who I’m not sure if she will like getting this as her first record, but it was only two bucks… and she does really like haunted houses and spooky stuff in general.
