So, I wondered if #KerbalSpaceProgram2 early access was playable yet...

I loaded up the space station segments that I had built in my first go-around. After some careful maneuvering, I linked up two pieces in orbit and de-orbited the booster for the second piece. Switched back to my shiny new space station, and...

...I find a single docking port, ejected from the Kerbolar system at ludicrous speed.

Maybe not ready for prime time just yet.

Today I made my way to Elloo in #ksp2 . After a more or less successful landing, Valentina fell into a crevasse only to be ejected again at 20000 m/s on the other side of the planet and went on her merry way through the Kerbal galaxy. Goodbye Valentina.

Is anyone else looking forward to Kerbal Space Program 2?

I loved the original, but it was seriously flawed and I struggled to grasp some of the orbital mechanics required to launch craft out into the far reaches of the system.

I struggled just to land on the Mun.

Early access on steam, but the game is so unfinished that paying for it at this state is wasting money for an unplayable game.

Ich muss schon sagen, die #KerbalSpaceProgram2 #KSP2 Werbung ist schon sehr nice.
Ich wünschte nur dass das Spiel halb so weit wäre, wie die Werbung sugeriert.
Nicht weil ich nicht glaube das die Features rein kommen, sondern weil ich um die Reputation des Spiels fürchte.

Been feeling so conflicted about Kerbal Space Program 2. Really disappointed in the state (and cost!) of early access, yet what is there is (in some sense) playable (more or less). Felt torn between refund and wait for more, or keep to experience the progress.

Felt today I just wanted to land something on the Mun despite the difficulties, so guess I made my decision.

Landing on the Mun without any flight aids felt good - still have the old skills!
