I had one of those leaf cuttings.
After 9 Month it grew a stem.
Unfortunately while trying to pot it into a larger pot, my then very young and playfull puppy grabbed it and ran into the garden.
I never found it...
Sad day.

Just a word on these for those of you who might not know much about plants, these aren't real plants, they are just leaves plucked from Hoya Kerrii and pushed into soil.

They are often seen in shops around Valentine's Day.

Nine times out of ten they don't grow unless the supplier has accidentally added a stem with a node on it, most of the time it will just be a leaf which will eventually fail.

Personally I think that cutting up a plant just to make these is a bit wrong, especially when you could have an entire plant for not much more than the cost of one of these, and get beautiful red flowers out of it within two years as a bonus.

The other issue is that if someone gets one of these and they lose it, they might end up feeling like they did something wrong, when they're clearly not at fault.

So look for Hoya Kerrii instead.

The Variegated form is the leaf on the Left, Plain green on the Right.
