I should re read it myself actually, he had a fairly complicated / nuanced perspective on it.

I remember it as #KevinRudd being more anti-nationalist than anti-communist, but i suspect I'm projecting my own views onto it.

If you just search for the name Kevin Rudd (possibly adding the word "war" if that gets to much other stuff) wherever you get podcasts / videos / news articles there'll be plenty of free stuff.

Whether you get the book specifically depends on the time and budget you have for books, there's definitely an eBook, it's also on audible.

Maybe you would like a book written by Murdoch 's nemesis, Kevin Rudd. The book has almost nothing to do with Murdoch, but Rudd being Murdoch's nemesis might mean you agree on other things.

#KevinRudd is an #Aussie who is currently based in the #USA but was previously a diplomat in #China (and our PM a couple of times in between)

He seems to be an internationally renowned China expert, a few too many non-Chinese guys get that designation, but I've even seen him interviewed about China by #SCMP - an English language news paper from #HongKong

He speaks Mandarin fluently, albeit not perfectly (there was an amusing viral video of him swearing in English about a difficult speech written for him in Chinese) and is one of the only international leaders who spoke to Xi without a translator.

Previously #Rudd was tweeting a lot about #Murdoch but lately it's mainly how to avoid war…
