"U.S. National Labor Relations Board judge Arthur Amchan wrote in his ruling Thursday that the shutdown of the store near Cornell 'was done in large part to discourage unionization efforts in Ithaca and elsewhere,' Bloomberg said.

"The judge said Starbucks repeatedly violated the National Labor Relations Act in Ithaca by punishing union supporters."
