Aldi are marketing these toys as the "King and Queen of Veg" which does suggest a Miévillean City-and-the-City style set up of overlapping kingdoms occupying the same space.

These societies do however interact to the extent that the carrot family has tickets on a human plane, albeit one with no accomodations for vegetable proportions.

Are the vegetables an underclass? How much consitutional power do the vegetable monarchy hold?

For example in this scene from the 2022 Christmas advert we see Jasper the Carrot donating to a Beetroot charity worker using miniture (non sentient? fascimile?) brussel sprout currency.

So in the KCCU does EVERYBODY use sprout tokens or just the vegetable-people?

Does the carrot king have no coinage OR has this new carrot king usurped a previous brussel sprout monarcy?
