I've been using a 7 key chorder since the mid 90's. (https://chorder.cs.vassar.edu/) But a non input device is an essential part of my navigation so I want recommend that. It is a program called keynav https://github.com/jordansissel/keynav. If you are using Linux check it out. It provides a very quick way to move around the screen. I use a 3x3 grid and 4 keystrokes typically gets me to whatever area on the screen I need to select.
