More 'outdoor relief' for the professional classes, as the UK Govt. abandons limits on budge allocations to #consultants... so while budgets cannot afford #inflation matching pay for #keyworkers, the heavily padded expenses of outsourced 'experts' are just fine

Its a a bit like advertising; we might easily conclude that half of all money spent on consultants is wasted, but the problem is we don't know which half... but now is not the time to be relaxed about such wastage!

Just had the #xmas Sainsburys delivery turn up. Driver said the shelves were practically empty when he left. No veg left, in particular. I chanced a "thanks, Brexit and Covid", fearing he'd explain at length why they weren't to blame hactually. But he was chill. Big up the #KeyWorkers. Anyway, they had sold out of ALL cheese biscuits/crackers/etc. Tried to give me cheese straws as an alternative. Cheese straws! I flung them back in his face. #Christmas is ruined/cancelled.

Let's link the pay rises of #nurses, #paramedics #RailwayWorkers and all the other #KeyWorkers to that of #MPs. MPs have had a 28% pay rise since 2010 so let's apply that across the board.
