Residents in Khar and Bandra West in Mumbai are frustrated with the poor condition of roads filled with potholes. Former corporator Asif Zakaria criticized the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for fining contractors instead of fixing the roads themselves. The BMC responded by using paver blocks to repair some parts of the roads. Residents argue that the BMC should charge mega contractors and fix the roads rather than fining them. The BMC commissioner has assured that all roads will be fixed by this weekend.
