The title took me back to a time (long ago) when I was a kid, and the family would get ads in the mailbox for - I'm not sure what they were trying to get us to subscribe to - maybe an astronomy magazine. But there would always be an included separate piece of paper, a beautiful image of some part of space, and the title would be "Lick Observatory Photograph". And my sister and me, little smart-asses that we were, would make a production out of licking the "Observatory Photograph", and then laugh like demented loons over it for hours. Since the ads came at least twice a year for several years it turned into a ritual that no longer needed the actual licking. All someone would have to do is repeat that phrase "Lick Observatory Photograph" and we'd scream with glee.

Kids are stupid. But it was fun.
