Does anyone out there know of an *affordable* and *online/virtual* computer coding/STEM camp for children ages 10-15?

I'm trying to do this search online and there's bubkes out there.

One big reason: no one in my family was remotely tied to the sciences. I was the first going for a PhD in anything. The second going to grad school of any kind.

So I want to make sure kids interested in science actually know the terms and general process of becoming a scientist. It shouldn't just be knowledge privy to the kids who are already in science families. That's a HUGE and unfair leg up.

Adding in a brief aside in my #ParticlePhysics MG NF book to talk through what graduate school is and how you go from student to professor, because I sure didn't know as a kid. Heck, I didn't even know in *college*, until it was time to apply to grad school. And like, I wanted to be a paleontologist! Since age 7! I staked that claim loud and proud constantly, and no adult ever actually explained how to become a professional scientist to me. #KidsInSTEM #STEMlit
