We were camping at George Lake, in the autumn and every day was magic. It didn't matter if there was bright sunshine or mist on the lake as the fall colors were stunning. The La Cloche mountains in the background and the rocky outcrop with forests of evergreen and deciduous trees created a magical atmosphere.

Canada is fantastic at any time of the year for stunning scenery but in the fall it is spectacular. Red and gold foliage of the deciduous trees, green Pine trees, gold grasses and royal blue water with light blue sky combined with stunning reflections on the calm water of the bog was mesmerizing to say the least.

There are many adjectives like spectacular, to describe this wilderness vista as we reached the top of Killarney Ridge, .Known as the "Crown Jewel" of Ontario Parks, it is not hard to see why, especially in the .We hiked about three kms, climbed up the mountain over the cascade of tumbled boulders of what is known as "The Crack" and were treated to a stunning panoramic view on all sides.
