Anybody seen #KillerSally on Netflix? Only on the first episode but already sucked in.

#KillerSally is not your usual true-crime docuseries. It’s a poignant story about how people fall into a cycle of abuse and how it stays with everyone involved. It’s also a touching story about family, the choices we make, and second chances.

Watched the first episode on the documentary mini series #KillerSally on #Netflix yesterday. And oh boy - those kids (who are now adult) must struggle with A LOT of #MentalHealth issues after that upbringing!
Not to mention the stuff both parents probably fought in their own heads.
As a teacher I wonder how many kids who walk into class each day have to go through stuff like this with abusive parents and so on?! Probably don't really want to know...

Ich finde es wirklich interessant wie sehr man sich durch eine Berichterstattung beeinflussen lässt. Neuerdings schaue ich gerne diese RealCrime Sendungen auf Netflix und würde man nur die Killer und Killerrinnen anhören, würde man glauben, die Opfer haben Schuld. Aber nein. #killersally kann ich überhaupt nicht einschätzen. #jeffreydahmer ist anfänglich sehr sympathisch. Es ist schlimm.
