In CO, a spry 81-yr-old walks each day. He walks, then falls. Next day, he walks, then falls. Doc says, it's a virus, take some antibiotics. Week later, he's still sick. Doc says, you're fine, just old, see ya. Wife says fuck you; new doc, please. New doc does a spinal tap. Guy has West Nile from a mosquito. New doc treats him, old guy gets better and it's all good.

He would've been dead.

WTF is up with US medicine? I see this happen again & again.
