Although I use a #VPN for everything, I have noticed that #BigTech companies like #Google, #Facebook, #Twitter and other services that I use, still know my home ip, even after creating new accounts.

Simply owning a #VPN does not result in automatic protection, you need to setup #killswitch or ensure and verify your connection at all times.

Still, nothing will ever beat pure #TOR or #I2P and using services like #Tails.

hurray! #dbrand shipped the complementary rev-b of their #SteamDeck case #killswitch (i preordered the rev-a) and my mail hold ended so i got to check it out today.

i had seen concept art that i didn't want to get too in love with but the feature made it to release: instead of the magnetic kickstand, it's mechanical now, *and holds four (4) #microSD cards*! it certainly feels like these #𝛍SD cards are secure in there, too. excellent idea and really well executed/would buy again. #reviewoot

i do have a #dbrand #killswitch for the #steamDeck and our complementary upgrade to the one without the magnetic kick did go out and now i have one that USPS will deliver to me when i am back in #IOW.

i don't need it to tell you that i highly recommend it for ergonomics (unchanged) materials,!and the travel cover is a must-have IMO. it's really great and i've flown with it like a dozen times now and i definitely wouldn't be hauling it around in the case it arrives in unless on a dare.
