Our yard is an officially certified mess! 🤪
After a few years of adding #nativeplants and doing grueling battle with some pernicious invasives, it was rewarding to get this certification. We also got some pointers and resources for further improvement, and encouragement that we're on the right track.

All the rock is being excavated from our yard and we are amending our soil with our compost, adding worms and beneficial predators, fungi, etc. This is another reason I’ve been so quiet! #gardening #nature #flowers

I also advocate for #killyourlawn but understand it’s hard for people to change from the ‘norm’. It’s an ongoing discussion at our house.
