@GavinMacGregor beautiful! Have you been to in yet. The most archaeological significant area in mainland Scotland. Over 800 ancient monuments, 150 of which are prehistoric. A gentle flat walk through the Glen takes you from standing stones, cists, a henge, through a linear chambered cairn cemetery. A very special place.

Temple Wood (or Half Moon Wood) stone circles, (north and south), Kilmartin Glen. The southern circle contains a ring of 13 standing stones about 12 metres (40 feet) in diameter, "The northern circle is smaller and consists of rounded river stones (which also fill the southern circle). In its centre is a single stone; another stone is found on the edge of the circle"

The Ballymeanoch stones, Kilmartin Glen. There are six stones in all, set in relatively straight lines of two and four which are aligned approximately north-west to south-east. The tallest is 12 feet high, all are impressive.
