#Broadway's hit musical #KimberlyAkimbo will launch a 75-week, 60-city North American tour in September 2024, with the first stop at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The show is certain to grab many #TonyAwards nominations when they are announced on May 2.

First New York City #theater trip in nearly four years: #Leopoldstadt was a masterpiece. The #SweeneyTodd revival was very good, with outstanding vocals by Josh Groban and a daring, scene-stealing turn by Annaleigh Ashford as Mrs. Lovett. Disappointed in the new musicals. My unpopular opinion is that I really disliked #KimberlyAkimbo. Too much unforgivable behavior and a story that didn’t work for me. #Shucked had too many weak jokes and not enough character, even for a silly fable.

I’m in LA, so have no chance to see this, but for this #theatrenerd , it’s the show I’m most excited about. #VictoriaClark is so damn good. Cannot wait for the cast album, and I hope the show finds its audience. We need more originality on Broadway, not more jukebox shows.
