I know #LydiaLunch was part of the #NoWave scene, and not strictly #PunkRock
But The Harry Crews are one of my favourite bands. They only did one album of live recordings, with songs inspired by novels by Harry Crews.
This is Gospel Singer, which has one of the greatest basslines ever. I don't know how #KimGordon got the bass to sound like that.

Op de universiteit rolt hij, in 1976, in de #punk en #newwave muziekscene van NYC.
In 1980 gaat hij samen wonen met zijn vriendin #KimGordon die hij dat jaar ontmoet op een optreden van #TheCoachman, waarvan hij deel uitmaakt samen met illustrator #JDking.
Hij ontmoet tijdens die optredens ook #LeeRonaldo van de band #TheFlucts.

En richt ze de firma #XGirl op, met Streetwear voor vrouwen.
Ze is een legende binnen de rock en buiten haar bassstijl wordt ze geroemd voor haar altstem en bereik.
