#sundance film # 21 #KimsVideo A doc (mostly) about Kim's Video in NYC which housed a collection of 55,000 mostly rare films. They closed over 10 years ago, but what happened to the collection? This is a gonzo search for answers and I LOVED it! One of my top 5 of the fest. Loved the storytelling through classic film clips. Loved the obsession. Check this one out! #sundance2023

#KimsVideo: a very fun, solid experimental documentary on one former card carrying member of old NYC staple “Mr. Kim’s” tries to get to the bottom of what happened to his 55,000 movie collection. It takes him to Italy, to Korea, and some help from the movie gods to find them!

#KimsVideo has returned to NYC! The famous movie collection has landed at Alamo Drafthouse Lower Manhattan and now needs your help. There is currently a Kickstarter to raise funds in order to organize this archive of 40,000 important, rare, and hard to find VHS/DVD films.
