One of the really great strengths of the Kindle Scribe as a large Kindle is themes. I save various typeset changes in themes for various types of books I like to read here. Programming books should look different from fiction/nonfiction books which should look different from newspapers.

Combined with uploaded fonts, you can really customize the crap out of your reading experience in many different ways.

The new #KoboElipsa2E seems very enticing but until #Kobo adds options to fully export and back up handwritten annotations and notes, is it worth it? I love that unlike the #KindleScribe, you can directly mark-up a text as you would a print book and sometimes I wish my #KoboForma had a bigger screen. Am concerned about the potential to lose reading note though 🤔

Thanks to fortunate timing, I was able to pick up a Kindle Scribe at a good price. After losing my reMarkable, I wasn't sure an e-ink tablet would be in my near future, so how does the Scribe stack up to the reMarkable and as an e-ink tablet? Pretty damn well.
