While working on #KindredFX, spent a lot of free time researching my family. What seems very probable is that plantation owners for 2 lines of my family tree were Irish families. While in Ireland, I was looking for hint of that history. Didn't find it. But I was also in Ireland for almost no time. Toured #CrumlinRoadGaol #Belfast. Informative. Tour guide was entertaining & that worried me. At the start, he explained the design & that "it looks just like in the movies". It did! I took many photos

On Disney+ UK/IE, I just stumbled across the adaptation of Kindred. Apparently it’s been tucked away there for a while. It ends abruptly on a cliff hanger. AFAIK it’s not getting a second season. It leaves this particular version stuck in purgatory: not a full book adaptation; not a TV series in itself (like The Handmaid’s Tale). So I watched ep 1 of #Kindred and it was actually pretty good??? I was worried since Kindred is my one of my favorite books ever. It's very different from the book & what I imaged, but I'm curious to see where they take it. Also the acting is great!
