On Disney+ UK/IE, I just stumbled across the adaptation of Kindred. Apparently it’s been tucked away there for a while. It ends abruptly on a cliff hanger. AFAIK it’s not getting a second season. It leaves this particular version stuck in purgatory: not a full book adaptation; not a TV series in itself (like The Handmaid’s Tale).
