Of all the animal movements, flight is indisputably the finest. The fact that a creature, as heavy bulk for bulk as many solid substances, can, by the unaided movements of its wings, urge itself through the air with a speed little short of a cannonball, fills the mind with wonder.

I had a big long toot and it seems to have disappeared at one point before I could hit the button. So an hour later, here I am #PSVR #kinesiology.
🤦🏻♀️
I may try setting up the splitter's splitter for passthrough screen capture recording, but that's going to depend on how well I can move physically tomorrow in order to run the cables.
I'm probably going to let my PSN renewal lapse next month, for a short while. It's going to be iffy.
I have some online courses I'd like to look at or start and I have a framed piece that's been primed with acrylic and is ready to have something painted on it, as well as a small pile of postcards in various states of sendable.
But first, exercise and then hot water.
It's ≈1mile (1.44km) to the grocery store I walked to, this morning. There's hills both directions, but the foot drop and leg stamina held up until I was almost back. It's also the hardest part, at that point both because of terrain and infrastructure when on foot.
The bikeway bridge is nice though because that's by one of the busier, denser sections of the road.
Groceries are put away, and maybe I'll finally sit for a few moments.
I've still not hooked up the #ps4pro again for #psvr (or other apps) screen capture. :BlobCatSigh: I can't decide if it's worthwhile at this point to keep doing the videos. Exercising continues anyhow.
The exaggerated temperature fluctuations locally have been contributing to the bone issues flaring up.
It sounds weird, but the ossified spikes on my feet/heels act like cold antenna concentrators. It's actually been more of a problem than the Ti hardware in my back.
Along with the raynaud's already inhibiting temperature regulation in that area, the bone spikes concentrate the cold causing the tissue to shrink even farther causing more damage on the ossified spikes making swelling happen when they warm back up from micro-ruptured, abraded tissues.
A fancy way to say I'm still walking awkwardly.

I was finally able to load up my #nomanssky save file tonight. :blobfistbumpA:
Had some problems getting the hang of the Move controllers with it again, though. No problems handling the #psvr other than standing with my legs locked too long.
One of the things #raynauds means is I overheat quickly, so the room where all my gear lives is cold. Easy in winter. When I'm not actively exercising, I need layers though, so today's shirt during breaks and while just standing. #WeHackHealth #kinesiology

Perhaps titanium counts, too (though in a modern way)?
Snow and ice on the way here. #psvr time while I can. Video capture to the desktop is still currently disassembled.
got everything up and going and this was my 3rd and final song earlier. Maybe more later, but needed a short break. Enjoy the muppet-flailing, bingo-wing flapping lightshow at 264 days post-surgery. :blobcatrainbow:

well, ≈1½ hours (15 songs over two session) of recordings including last night, and no sound captured from the PS4 because I borked the #OBS input settings at some point & didn't do a preflight check and catch it.
On the plus side, less distracted by the music on the playback, so it's easier to see I'm still skewed (head/eyes, shoulders/arms, hip/feet all slightly different angles relative to each other) and short targeting from the left side. "Thanks, I hate it. =-{ "

There are days where it feels like a continual chemical intake juggle just to function like an reasonable adult...
Had enough strong coffee and sugar, now to smooth it out with green tea. Later I'll have some of my usual energy drink, assuming I'm going to do a VR_session.
I can keep my cardio reasonable (a little winded coming up 3 flights of stairs, but for now, reasonably so), but I'm still having the leg control and stamina issue. Went for a walk of only a couple of blocks, and the numbness & footdrop are a noticeable problem by the time I get back home.
I'm in dire need of some sort of stretching for my leg muscles, but I still can't sit on the floor (getting down onto the floor and back up is hard enough trying to do cables or clean) so yoga seems an iffy option at the moment.
I did about an hour of #SynthRiders last night, mostly on spiral mode. I might need to stop trying for the Master difficulty and step back to Expert for some of the songs if I keep obstacles turned on.
Still more doable for me than a bunch of the #BeatSaber songs with walls on, though.
And I'm _STILL_ fighting with tracking in BeatSaber. but not SynthRider. I'm beginning to think it's my camera location and tracking angle calculations, however BS adjusts PoO internally outside of the system setting. In addition to the persnickety lighting issues for tracking. smdh
I know, all things considered, I'm doing ok. Just frustrated I'm not further along or more ~functional~
sometimes walking around, it feels like my gait must look like one of the BD_Atlas robots just before they fall over. I hate it. I used to be able to hike off trail in the woods.
no videos from last night (needed a practice night w/o the added shuffling back and forth to the computer for the file captures, since the #postcards project kept me busier sitting last month than I expected) but I have some from the 14th to look through, or maybe I'll try tonight...

While you are practicing mimicry, pay attention to more than just your hands. This is obvious when using a hammer, but perhaps less so when brushing your teeth.
This is where I get to use the big word for all of this: #kinesiology - the scientific study of human body movement.
Most tasks involve your entire arm, and thus also your shoulder, to varying degrees. So pay attention to this, and your overall posture.
I'm an #undergraduate student studying #kinesiology aiming for #physicalTherapy school, also known as #physiotherapy.
I like learning and hope to nurture that feeling by sharing what I take away from class. It's also my strategy to learn to cherish what I study, making it more meaningful and memorable. I hope to be the most helpful clinician I can be.
I hope my posts will spark someone's excitement. I look forward to the fun things others may add about my learnings!
