Or rather: I just finished playing this, I play so much now that I am studying again. This album starts off loud and obnoxious - love the first track - but gets very improv later on, and at some point I thought my speakers weren't working anymore. There's a lot to unpack in this album and certainly deserves more listens.

These were a group great musicians who played on tons of excellent recordings from that era and it was great to see them work together. This track, “Matte Kudasai”, was from their 1982 shows. I’ve always loved this tune, the album can be frantic at times, but this track was just so spacious and sweet with some melancholy longing to it…
