All the pilots going to Vietnam would buy these massive reel to reels, They would play the records they could rent from the base library, and collect these enormous personal reel to reel libraries. After Dad came back, we ignored the classical reels and largely played a reel that had: Kingston Trio, Peter Paul and Mary, and then Johnny Cash.
