We had an interesting and lovely guided tour of #tidePool with #SANDSWA.
Didn't know: #Starfish have water #vascular system, a #hydraulic network of canals used for movement, food, gas exchange.
Also: coralline #algae have a skeleton of #coral-like material

I went to Albany Bulb to observe the king tide today. This brick sculpture is normally right on the waterfront but surrounded by dry land most of the time. All around the edges of the bulb water had covered many of the lower pathways. #mastoart #KingTide #AlbanyBulb #SanFranciscoBay
