@willaful #KiR I finished Queer Ducks last night. I liked the mix of anecdotes about animals and interviews with scientists. I recommended it to my kid, too.

And I see what you mean about the 300s, it’s a huge category (Diary of a Misfit was very good!)

This one is both easy and hard for me, because I have hundreds of potential titles. Two recent ones I'm looking at are Diary of a Misfit and After Life.

@willaful #KiR I was thinking about reading a Mary Roach book, I’m pretty sure one would qualify. Queer Ducks sounds interesting too, though. Is it a full on graphic novel or just extensively illustrated?

How to Keep House While Drowning just came in from the library and I started it last night. I am already wondering if I should have bought a copy instead.

#KiR I put aside Who is Wellness For--all the trigger warnings for that book!--and started Koshersoul by Michael W. Twitty. The prose is complex for me but I love the connections he's finding between Blackness and Jewishness (and queerness, too. All "family.")

For those participating, February's Dewey# will be the 500s. This is always my least favorite category, but I'm thinking about a YA book called Queer Ducks.

@willaful #KIR I already have a hold for “How to Keep House While Drowning” but I’m not sure it will come in before the end of the month. Tomorrow I need to sift through the non-fiction books I own!

Anyone been doing any #KIR reading yet? I started Who Is Wellness For but it's much more personal than I was expecting, and very dark, which I'm not sure I'm up for in the midst of a cold dark wet winter.

Some wonderful quotes though... I think I've added 5 books to my TBR just from the Introduction.
