Started Trails Into Reverie yesterday. Still in the first Chapter of Lloyd's route and having a great time with it. It's nice to finally see that ending promised at the end of Azure. Being back in Crossbell (and this time seeing more parts of it than in the Cold Steel games) is just great.
Also running great on my Steam Deck, at moderate settings (and set to 40Hz).

Having finished Cold Steel IV (just in time for Reverie!), I gotta say I'm pretty happy about the Cold Steel arc. It's not perfect, and suffers massively from a core cast that's just too big. But given all the constraints that Falcom put on themselves, they still nailed the landing. Looking forward to Reverie to act as an epilogue for both Cold Steel and Crosbell, and as an apetizer for the Calvard arc, how 3rd was for Cold Steel. #kiseki #falcom #reverie #trailsofcoldsteel #gaming

So, been playing some more Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4. Making my way through Act 3, and the continued substory with the dog Cerberus, whose owner runs a weapon's smuggling operation and uses the dog to literally do _everything_, has to be one of its highlights for me.

Finally started to play Trails from Zero (Zero no Kiseki: Kai) for the first time, a PSP title from 2010. It got released in the West a few months ago. I really miss those 2.5D characters and old school turn-based RPG. As always, Trails games are very slow burn, it often took more than 20mins of dialogue before you can run around town or dungeon. Classic.

Wow! NISA just shadowdropped the Japanese PC version of Kuro No Kiseki. Even more, the port was handled by PH3 (Durante). That's crazy!

I'm glad that Durante has been getting a lot of appreciation for his work. He used to frequent a forum I went to and he always had interesting things to say.

I also love the shade he drops in the release notes. "Our version doesn't have memory leaks." XD
