Doing a bit of work on the base.
I'm upset that I forgot to buy UHU glue, I wanted some to help with the globes left over.
I might use the fake snow paint, and use contrast paint as a base for rubles, then add the broken glass to it

Seen elsewhere. I figured this particular one out a while ago because both of them are favourites of mine, but figuring out what was kitbashed from what for the original Star Wars studio models is one of my favourite things to indulge in.
The A-Wing also has prominent F-16 parts among other things from other things.

So I made some progress on those Skyre Acolytes I'm kitbashing.
I had to remove 2 gaz mask heads off the minis from an existing plague claw (only the bossman kept his), and use 3 from the same kit I have still on sprue.
Next up, maybe painting the orbs (well 3 canon balls, a flail end and a human head with a round helmet)

Right, here's my next project then: a looted rhino. AKA "counts as a trukk". I believe the kids would classify this an eBay rescue, although this has been stitting in my bitbox for years. The previous owner had tried to merge it with a Gorkmorka trukk, not a bad idea, but TBH, thier reach exceeded thier grasp. I cut that bit away, gonna replace it.

A little progress on those skyre acolytes.
Some of the 8th ed WFB bits are indeed coming in handy to help with the kitbash, namely open hands (some archers bits I think) the canon balls, and some flail bit.
I need to do the heads next, not sure how I am going to do the gaz masks, there might be some on the sprue somewhere
