I just made these #GoatCheese #muffins for the first time. Of course, the chives I got for the recipe were rotted by the time I got around to cooking, so I used rosemary instead (which I think I will even prefer). They look and smell great, will be able to taste in about 15 min. https://www.washingtonpost.com/food/2023/03/30/chevre-chive-muffin-recipe-savory-easter/ #foodie #KithKitchen #cooking #vegetarian

@magicalwoodlands @aggiegrad03 That sounds really good!! I really miss everyone at #kithkitchen. Thank you for tagging me in š¤
I just made some truly excellent baked bone-in chicken breasts for dinner tonight. My mom would have been so proud of me (I am in my 60s!). If my old instance #KithKitchen still existed I'd show it off to my #foodie peeps there. @napalousa @aggiegrad03 at least I can still tag you! Mom's trick was: salt, lemon juice, and paprika must be involved. There was also rosemary, garlic, oregano, and lemon zest. It was restaurant-worthy. Happy tastebuds, happy spouse too! š #ChickenDinner

My friends from #kithkitchen know this already but sharing here too. I decided to meal plan this year by drawing random recipes from my cookbooks each week. I filled jars with recipes representing three categories: pescatarian, meat main, and soup/stew/salad/one pot meals. I have recipes from about 50 cookbooks represented so far. Will add more over time. This was my draw last week and the results so far. Making the cauliflower recipe on Sunday. #cooking #cookbooks #mealplanning

Another interesting thing I learnt about this week is the Three Grand Soups, which is a common term in Japan referring to what are seen as the three most important soups in the world - of which there are four. They are borscht, bouillabaisse, shark fin and tom yam kung. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_grand_soupsā What would be your four Three Grand Soups? #KithKitchen
