Someone™ pointed out to me that #kmonad [1] is a lot more lispy than #keyd, overlays devices by paths and overall has larger community. While keyd is a way to have universal system-wide config with different layouts this is a solution more suited to building #emacs macro organs.
Got angry at #xmodmap which broke during a recent #opensuse upgrade. Replaced it with #keyd, which has been much more stable.

Après avoir listé toutes ces difficultés que je rencontre, je pense que j'ai peu de chance d'arriver à migrer vers le Moonlander… en tous les cas, je ne vois pas de solution immédiate 🤔

This is a keyboard remapping tool I find very helpful in conjunction with #Emacs. I have CapsLock mapped not just to Ctrl, as many Emacs users do, but to Ctrl on hold, Bksp on tap (a la Colemak). Likewise, Return is mapped to Ctrl on hold, Return on tap. The nicest thing is that not only does it support console and Wayland on Linux, it supports Windows and MacOS, too!
