@BigJackBrass @mhd There seem to be a lot of systems these days, Fate as already mentioned, but also Index Card RPG, Knave, Savage World's and others that market themselves as tool kits to be built on, modded, and have bits taken from, so I would say hacking game mechanics is more of a thing now than ever.
Even more so with so many people making their own indie RPGs now.

With the original being an amazingly clear 7 pages, I'm not sold on the idea of Knave expanding to a hardcover book. But it will probably be excellent.

@Bartimaeus @pnpnerd ich würde #CairnRPG aufgrund der grundlegenden Mechaniken am ehesten als Hack von #IntoTheOdd einsortieren, aber das Magiesystem z.B. ist klar an #KnaveRPG angelehnt.
In jedem Fall ein tolles System - noch dazu eines mit einer aktiven deutschsprachigen Community. (Ich habe damals mit anderen das Lektorat gemacht - in erster Linie aber wurde das Projekt von @michael angestoßen.)

Hat jemand eine deutsche Adaption des #Knave Regelsystems parat und würde es mit mir teilen? Ich würde das gerne mit Leuten spielen, die leider nicht so firm in Englisch sind.
