I had a total knee replacement 11 days ago. I can't believe how little pain I've been in during recovery. I did a pretty good job when it came to taking pain meds on time, but I did the same thing a year ago when I had a less- invasive surgery done and that one hurt, 9 on 10, for days.

I'd rate the highest my pain had been at this surgery at a 4. Maybe a 5, briefly.

Amazing.
