• Updated reference to be a bit more detailed and to include key words.
• Tundra base given an extra built mill.
• Wetland base given 1 less hand card.
• Front of bases no longer shows reference keywords, and instead shows asymmetric base flavor name.
• Some base names swapped around.
Significant overhaul in an attempt to make the game more intuitive.
• Card back now has the dating profile with base icons, and the front has some dialogue and match modifiers.
• Cards now have effects that modify the stack.
• Investing has you tucking a card then spending spoons afterwards based on what's showing.
• Patient Prospect changed into something less redundant, but terrible.
• Scoring system tweaked, no longer uses pen and paper.
• Setup phase a bit more involved, includes slightly more choice, hopefully functions as a tutorial as well.
• Exchange renamed Influence.
• Exert renamed Obsess.
• Oldest player goes first in ties now, so they always have a chance to influence the past and bank on a ripple to take another turn.
• Starting hands now variable, with the Youth starting with 2 and the Elder starting with 6.
• 6 more cards added to deck.

I think this is the first time I've posted about Butterfly here. I'm expanding on a game jam concept for Protospiel.
It's a game where the only one standing in your way is yourself. Specifically your past and future selves.
• Your victory condition is now based on cards you control.
• Actions consume minute tokens instead of cards, which are more of a closed system now.
• Drawing from deck action replaced with a card trading action.

• 12 unique base cards added which specify your starting hand and base cards.
• Cards now have backs associated with each player, to make setup easier but also to telegraph the end of the game.
• Harbinger card simply passes to whoever you give 🔥 to.
Incorporating suggestions from both Matt and Shanti for the card backs which I'm hoping will simplify setup and also make things more aesthetic and maybe make the theme really unsubtle.

• Return of mint tin sized base cards. Still mechanically identical.
• Removing the event 🍞. It wasn't serving its purpose.
• Added action names to each of the cards:
🍞 Sustain
🚚 Gather
🏭 Build
🧱 Obstruct
🔥 Consume / Displace
Added "Harbinger" to the Famine card.
Mostly just graphic design changes. Trying to remind people there's an action associated with fire since it is such a situational one.
Version B02:
• Finished coping mechanisms and micro games that had duplicate placeholders.
• Microgames organized by playable familiar games, more complex games, and then extremely silly "games".

I actually really like how F01 is playing so far, but the emergency orders were too expensive and never used to justify their existence. So what if instead of giving players a desperate and risky way to claw back into the game, I gave them the tools to actively take everyone with them.
• Emergency Order cards removed.
• New base 🔥 action added: For each built 🔥 discard any 2 cards. This is not blocked by 🧱.
Minor updates, taking a break on #OpacityGame and focusing more on #BreadGame and #VelociRaptureGame .

Version E was working really well but I had a really wild thought I want to try.
• Base cards turned into micro cards that can be discarded with 🍞.
• Changed all Emergency Order cards into a microcard with 1 🔥, 2🚚, and 2🏭. You start with 2.
• Emergency Order cards can also be discarded with 🍞.
• Win by having no 🔥 in your tableau instead of 1 🍞.
• Tumbleweed icon replaced with a smog ☁️.

Realizing I didn't post the February vlog here, oops. Now that I realize I can post these things as unlisted I've decided to start doing that lol.
• Base cards separated from Emergency action cards so the action card is kept in hand.
• Added Obscure emergency action.
• Base cards have an Emergency Action side which grants 2 extra perma 🔥 and grants a buffed action augmented by having more 🔥.
• 9 different emergency actions made, testing with a duplicate of each.
• Once you flip your base to the emergency side, you cannot flip it back.
I wanted to add a way to stay in the game even if another player severely hinders you. Hopefully it also adds a psychological disincentive to play too aggressively.
