I'm proud of myself. I bought enough yarn yesterday for 2 new sweater projects... but today I'm working on a 2-year-old project that I uncovered when I was putting the new stash away last night. I started it in November 2021.
Happy that I use #KnitCompanion so I can pick up right where I left off. Just sleeves left. Did about 2" last night.
The pattern is Primavera by Rachel Illsley. The yarn is 7th Floor Luscious Fingering, a merino/silk blend. #knitting #SundayKnitting @knitting

I just installed the #KnitCompanion App, having great expectations - #knittersofmastadon , have you tried it? What do you think or recommend?

@knitting #knitting I’ve mentioned how much I love #KnitCompanion a few times here.
Happy to see that @knitCompanion has a profile here on Mastodon!
Also noticed version 2.90 is out - now to figure out what all this is… documentation not great. :-(
* large format simple counter option
* streamlined shaping counter setup, including an improved flow and copy step option
* option to swap action for left/right voice commands
* PiP support for iPhones
@whichy @consumableJoy @havenkt @Knitronomicon @NotYouAlready @nowan Yeah, they didn’t have an Android app for a long time and resisted it. I heard it was slow going. Frankly, I’ve bought and shopped for iPads purely based on how I use #KnitCompanion. It’s my top used app for sure.
@Knitronomicon @havenkt @NotYouAlready @nowan @knitting Exactly. I’m the same. As long as I can get it into #KnitCompanion that’s all that matters to me. And I like being able to queue patterns and then shop to it in yarn stores (saves me from over-stuffing the stash). If I had a different alternative that let me import my history, I’d do it.
