No picture today, I forgot to take one before I left the house today and won't be back before late.

The first sleeve from my "just dream" sweater is started. It wasn't the ideal project for #knitnight - increasing in half fisherman's rib needs more attention as it's not easy to count rows.

But I got beyond the "we join the two parts of the cuff" part and ripping back 20 rows, when the stitch count is 35 or so doesn't hurt that much.

Moving Knit Night from Monday to Tuesday has thrown off my sense of what day it is, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover that today is Wednesday.

It's not the first time we've swapped days (our persistent chat is actually called Wednesday Night Knitters) and I expect it won't be the last.

Lots of discussion of spinning last night - one friend has finally gotten to the top of the waitlist for a McTavish/Drudik wheel (!!); another is planning a new project; I started the second half of a yarn a few weeks ago. This morning the sunbeam was perfectly aligned for a moment.

I brought my sock knitting project, as tinking a sticky #yarn is best done without distraction from talking with others.

This is a mindless enough project for that situation.

I finally could cast on for the second sleeve and worked on it during knit night yesterday.

I even hit about the correct spot in the gradient so the sleeves will actually be twins and not fraternal siblings. Always part of the fun with such yarns.

I have to do about 30+ more pattern repeats (4 rounds each) and then the yoke ... I'd guess I'm a bit over 50% done with the cardigan.
