Sunday shawl Houlland Hap designed by Donna Smith. I knit this using Eden Cottage Titus Lace in Antique Rose I don’t wear it but knit it to learn & enjoy an expanse of lace It’s the tree motif frequently used in Shetland knitting. I didn’t realise at the time the yarn I chose was finer for learning but I finished it. It's Intentional Holes week for #Fiberuary so here's a close up my favourite "little bit of lace" knit sweater, the Stepping Stones Cardigan (pattern by Rebecca McKenzie). Since it turns out it's mostly too warm here for me to wear my denser cabled sweaters I probably should make more like this one, but I haven't found a pattern I want to try yet!

Well, it's done. This is the Peace, Love, and Knitting shawl by Anna Dalvi, and the yarn is a hand dyed camel/silk. I cast on March 30th and finished the hundreds of beaded picots last Monday night.

I am very proud of how this turned out, and am tempted to keep it or gift it, but the kit was pricey and I have always planned to sell it. If interested, please contact me by private message
