That liquorice allsorts poncho I was talking about yesterday? This is the one I want to use as a base. It’s got to be my favourite poncho I’ve made. #knitterproblems

It’s made from 5 skeins of #madelinetosh 80/10/10 Fingering in Moorland.

Yes I could have made it smaller and with less yarn but why when this is lovely and snuggly?

I DO NOT need to make a poncho that looks like a liquorice allsort just because I have yarn. 🙄 #knitterproblems

The double broken rib swatch in the petrol colored beiroa yarn dried, and surprise surprise! The blocked gauge on 3.5 mm needles is 16.9 sts and 28.6 rows per 10 cm (4 inches), instead of the approx. 16-16.5 sts I was expecting. So, I went ahead and graded the pattern for the boxy drop-sleeve cardigan. Time to cast on! 😃

My Autumn colors shawl is blocking. See that bulb pin in the striped border? I must have not grabbed all plies of the yarn there, and it snapped when put under tension. No biggie: I'll work it back up with a crochet hook and sew it down in one of the stripes with a bit of leftover yarn 😃
