First sleeve finally done :Fischlvacation: used a very boring and unnecessary conference call to bind off (don't tell my boss).

I usually do the sleeves before finishing the body, because I like to make sure I have as little left over yarn as possible, and this is the best way for me to ensure that #knitting #knittingwip

Saturday morning on the deck, #knitting summer socks with #CascadeYarns Cotton Sox yarn. First time I've used it. It's not bad to work with. For a cotton blend yarn, it's actually pretty nice to work with. A little bounce in the ribbing. Doesn't quite feel like working with string. I'm looking forward to finishing this pair and giving them some foot time.

Yesterday I blocked the baby jacket. I found a "blocking mat" for free on a second hand website. But I had to wash it thoroughly and re put the pieces together since it was more or less unassembled when I received it 🤣 it took a long time!

I bought the #knitpro blockers, they are so expensive! I thought I could find something having the same functionality at work (electronic engineer), but pins were to short

Am I awake at 1:30, knitting and watching true crime? Maybe, maybe I am. Tomorrow, er, later today is going to be interesting. Trying to decide if this block is the last one or if I'm going to add two more and have a super long scarf. Think I'm tending towards the latter, as this is for J, and he is much taller than me. So now back to my #StipluShawl that I resize to have a #scarf. It's a sunny day and I'm on a beach at lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee, lac des quatre cantons) but I'm not yet in the mood for swimming. #knitting and laying in the chair is perfectly fine. I want to make it around 23cm wide (width of another scarf I have) and I'm around 17cm now, so... It should be another 8 rounds of ~450 stitches +. But maybe I won't be able to stop!

Cast on new project ... twice. This is a triangle lace shawl and trying to decide which size needle. So cast on one on US Size 6 and one on US 7. Yarn is Paton's Linen (cotton/ linen blend). Which size needle would you choose? #knitting #knittingwip

It's a different kind of yarn chicken when it's also the last bit of the homespun.... But we made it.

Hmph, I have my monthly crafts meeting this week and had carefully set out one of the very many works in progress that I decided to take with me. Including the printed out pattern. Why are there only half the pages? And the wrong half of them? This is seriously annoying. No, I don't need to know how to turn the heels of socks that I barely knitted the toes for, I need the pattern chart, grumble. I'll check out the 2nd newest project, maybe I'll have better luck with that one.
