3rd pair of #knit #socks progress. Gotten better at toes and changing colors, so look at me. Changing colors with abandon. The pattern I’m making with scrap yarn is a definite vibe. I feel that there is so much in the air at the moment & so many things that are uncertain or it's too early to get excited about them. It's making me feel discombobulated. All I seem able to settle to is my #knittng It seems to soothe my #overthinking #brain

About 2 1/2 years after casting on for the Wildly Striped Socks, I have finally turned the heels and am on the home stretch. I had both legs done, but ripped back because the small stranded color pattern I was using just couldn’t stand up to the high contrast variegation in one yarn. Also the gauge was seriously off on one. So after ripping I set them aside, and then life intervened, and for a while I didn’t do much knitting that required more thought than a dishcloth. But here we are. #knittng

Aren’t these the prettiest colors? I bought this yarn for socks but It just isn’t right so I’ve held onto it for a year trying to figure out what to do with it. Now that I’m making a gazillion hand hugs it seemed like a good fit. Hopefully after a wash it softens up a bit.
