She's the right shape, size, and color! I selected this lovely mama bear in honor of #PolarBearWeek and it currently being #BearSeason in #Churchill.
Thanks for playing #KnockKnockWhosBear with me this week. Come back again next Tuesday for another identification challenge!
Reminder: I accept bear photos/videos via DM for the game. I credit all media used! Send it along!

I suppose it's #introduction time.
I'm currently a PhD candidate at the University of Saskatchewan, researching polar bear movement drivers in Wapusk National Park. All of our bear data comes from remote trail cameras. My MSc research focused on heart function of grizzly bears based on dietary fat intake. So, I have ~10 years of bear experience!
I run a fun bear species identification game, #KnockKnockWhosBear every Tuesday around lunch time. Come join me!

Still trying to get the hang of this. In some ways, it's a lot like Twitter. In others, not so much. Finding people (especially in the science/wildlife biology community) has proven difficult for me! But I'll be trying to post regularly on here, and run #KnockKnockWhosBear concurrently on both platforms - we'll see how that goes! Welcome, new friends!
