Hey if anyone's got resources for *low-cost or free* up-to-date online access to high-quality science journals/databases, please share... One limited but invaluable resource (not sure if you can join outside of Canada, or if you haven't been a U student) for sharing knowledge is the volunteer-run, low profile Canadian Academy of Independent Scholars (CAIS). Annual fee of about $100 Cdn / year + student card from former university gets access to a wide range of peer-reviewed science/econ/health+++ lit (and many more university library resources). I don't know if similar organizations exist elsewhere, but there should be more like CAIS.
