The new #KoboElipsa2E seems very enticing but until #Kobo adds options to fully export and back up handwritten annotations and notes, is it worth it? I love that unlike the #KindleScribe, you can directly mark-up a text as you would a print book and sometimes I wish my #KoboForma had a bigger screen. Am concerned about the potential to lose reading note though 🤔

While the Elipsa wouldn’t be a direct replacement for an iPad, I struggle with trying to rationalize any future iPad purchases given how much nicer it would be for things like reading and note-taking. It’s a good thing iPads have a generally long life (especially with a battery replacement), because paying for a new one is way way down my financial priority list. 📝
