Domain Trilogy: Rana’s adventures in a land governed by Grimm begin when the fairytale prince fails to show up to rescue the princess and Rana decides to just do it herself. She hasn’t reckoned with the charms of one wicked wizard. But sometimes fairy tales are just plain horrible and you have to work very hard for your happy ending (f/m romance)

Mosaic Virus Duology: a virus transforms women into creatures known as Mosaics, mindless, eerily beautiful…and collectible. Simon collects Mosaics for his king, but his latest catch is not so easily collected. She hasn’t yet lost her mind, and she has plans for Simon (f/m and m/m romances)

Finally, a resolution to my #Kobo issue where they were listing the old version of my book.

I’d given up, and returned to publishing my books directly through Kobo Writing Life (their #indiePublishing arm) — since I had to publish that one book with them, and already have to have separate accounts for Amazon and Google Play, distributing via #Smashwords for the rest wasn’t of much time-saving benefit (and #KoboPlus payments were taking forever to come across to Smashwords anyway).

The old version was still there but at least the new one was too. But then I saw that Kobo resellers (like Booktopia in Australia) were mixing up the old and new versions.

So, sigh, I had one last try, but instead of going back to the old conversation where Kobo was completely ignoring my query as to who it thinks the distributor is if not Ingram, I started over with the Kobo Writing Life helpdesk.

Instant success! Apparently my publishing company had a direct account with Kobo and that’s who the distributor was.

(This is absolutely not true, by the way, I only ever distributed with Ingram back then, no direct accounts with anyone — but I’m not arguing with the person fixing the problem).

So they closed the old account and the old version vanished. The Booktopia listing should fix itself eventually.

I did have a moment of angst that they’d close my actual account by accident, because that’s the kind of thing that seems to happen these days, but no, competence all the way.

So, thanks to Sarah from KWL, all my books are properly back on Kobo Plus now and I can finally tick it off my to-do list — a solid two months to be back exactly where I started 😂

I also had to re-list my books directly on Kobo (and #KoboPlus) after experimenting with distribution through Smashwords, and that was put on pause after four books — the others had to wait, presumably again so a human could double-check it wasn’t a mass fake-book upload.

Neste primeiro mês de #kobo tenho lido através do serviço #koboplus e estou agradado, mas tenho visto que sim, que os preços daqueles que quero e que não estão incluídos na subscrição são altos, muito altos. Não está a ser feito esforço algum para a adopção de #ebooks por cá.
